Starting in late 2013 Silences have thus far featured on the prestigious RTE ‘Other Voices’, received airplay for their singles ‘Sister Snow’ and ‘Santa Cruz’ on BBC Radio 1 and have performed at Reeperbahn, The Great Escape Festival and Electric Picnic. Their two EPs have received critical acclaim from the likes of Huw Stephens (BBC) and have been streamed over a million times on Spotify. Described as Alternative Indie, the group have cited Death Cab For Cutie, Tame Impala and Villagers as major influences on their sound. Their third EP, ‘Luna’, co-produced by Tommy McLaughlin (SOAK/Villagers) and Declan Legge (SOAK/Ciaran Lavery) at Attica Audio will be released on April 15th.The first single ‘There’s A Wolf’ has already received significant airplay from Annie Mac on BBC Radio One.
